Breaking News! The Key Laboratory of Quantum Precision Measurement Integrated Light Source Technology (Under Preparation), led by DoGain, has been approved for construction in Jiangsu Province.
Recently, the Science and Technology Commission of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology issued the Notice on Carrying Out the Construction of Provincial Key Laboratories Led by Enterprises. After application acceptance, evaluation and inspection, public announcement, and official review by the Science and Technology Commission of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, a total of 39 enterprise-led provincial key laboratories have been selected for construction across the province. The Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory of Quantum Precision Measurement Integrated Light Source Technology (Under Preparation), led by DoGain, has been successfully included in the provincial construction list.

Building an Innovation Consortium for Quantum Light Source Technology
Led by DoGain, the laboratory is jointly constructed with the Suzhou Institute of Nano-tech and Nano-bionics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Zhangjiagang Institute of Compound Semiconductors, Zhongke Nano. It bridges the gap between industrial engineering implementation and cutting-edge academic fundamental research, forming an in-depth collaborative innovation model driven by enterprise leadership and institutional empowerment.
Focusing on quantum technology, one of the six future industrial sectors prioritized in Jiangsu Province, the laboratory specializes in optoelectronic device research under the electronic information industry. It conducts systematic technical research on integrated semiconductor optoelectronics, optoelectronics, and laser technologies. Aligned with the key research directions for semiconductor devices under the national information science development strategy, the laboratory underpins the fundamental core light source technology for China’s quantum precision measurement industry.
Tackle Core Technologies, Break Overseas Technical Monopolies
At present, high-end light sources for domestic quantum precision measurement equipment are heavily reliant on imports, bringing with them prominent industry pain points including insufficient operational stability, low integration level, and a lack of unified industrial evaluation standards. Focusing on core technical bottlenecks in the industry, the laboratory conducts targeted research on four key technologies: laser-atom coupling, high-power narrow-linewidth chips, multi-material heterogeneous integration, and standardized testing and evaluation. By establishing a fully independent R&D system, the laboratory aims to realize the localized substitution of core light sources for quantum measurement and break free from overseas technical restrictions.
Accelerate Achievement Implementation, Empower Jiangsu Quantum Industry Development
Market-oriented in operation, the laboratory opens up a full industrialization channel for scientific and technological achievements. In collaboration with its co-construction research institutes, it promotes the implementation of industrial demonstration projects and delivers localized light source solutions for atomic clocks, quantum sensing and other key fields. By cooperating with local quantum industrial parks to build pilot-scale transformation platforms, the laboratory facilitates the high-quality upgrading and clustered development of the quantum precision measurement industry in Jiangsu Province.
In accordance with the administrative regulations for provincial key laboratories, the platform adopts a full-life-cycle management mechanism covering “preparation construction, formal acceptance, official operation, and periodic evaluation”, with a two-year preparation period for this project.
DoGain will strictly follow the highest construction standards for provincial-level laboratories to fully promote the substantive, professional and systematic operation of the laboratory.
