On May 18, the annual selection and award ceremony of "2023 China's Top Ten Optical Industry Technologies" hosted by Optoelectronics Exchange was held in Wuhan Optics Valley Science and Technology Convention and Exhibition Center. After strict selection by experts and online voting, the "940nm chip and optical fiber module for automotive lidar" stood out among the products and was selected as the "Top Ten Optical Industry Technologies in China in 2023".

 

 

The selection of "China's Top Ten Optical Industry Technologies in 2023" is jointly sponsored by Optoelectronics Exchange and Wuhan Optical Expo, aiming to promote the industrialization of optical technology achievements, deepen cooperation in the field of optics, and promote industry-university-research technology exchanges. At this meeting, Zhuang Songlin, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, served as the chairman of the conference and presented awards to the winners of the "Top Ten Optical Industry Technologies" as the guest of honor.

 

 

The award-winning "940nm chip and fiber module for automotive lidar" is the core pump light source of 1550nm eye-safe automotive radar. The 1550nm laser can have good penetration in harsh environments such as rain and fog, and can provide more reliable target detection and distance measurement capabilities, and can achieve high-precision ranging, high-resolution imaging, strong anti-interference ability, low power consumption, high efficiency and other application effects, providing important environmental perception and safety assurance functions for vehicles.

 

 

Through breakthroughs in high-temperature working chip design and high-reliability coupling packaging technology, Dogain has established a complete full-process production line and quality assurance capabilities, realized the large-scale mass production capacity of vehicle-grade radar pump modules, and passed the IATF16949 system certification, which provides sufficient guarantee for enhancing the international competitiveness of domestic lidar and the safety of the industrial chain. At the same time, the advantages of high-temperature and high-power design technology of this series of products are applied to the field of fiber laser pump source, such as air-cooled hand-held welding and other applications, which can greatly improve the environmental adaptability of the product and have a broader application prospect.
